Elisha and Gary got married at the beautiful Iscoyd Park in Shropshire back in August 2017. Iscoyd Park quickly became one of my favourite Shropshire wedding venues, I’ve gone on to become a recommended photographer there and have now shot there over 20 times! It has an absolutely gorgeous interior, with huge windows and beautiful attention to detail. The grounds outside are also stunning, complete with an old broken down piano and a loveseat swing. Iscoyd was the perfect choice for Elisha and Gary’s big day!
I was a friend of Elisha’s prior to her wedding so I was absolutely over the moon when she asked me to photograph their wedding day. Elisha and Gary had been together almost 10 years when they got married, which, at only 25, means they’ve been together nearly half of their lives!
Their ceremony took place at the picturesque St Mary’s Church in Whitewell. Elisha looked completely perfect in her Pronovias wedding dress and Badgley Mischka shoes. Gary looked incredibly dapper in a navy blue suit and shoes from Blooms, Wolverhampton. They had a string quartet play them in and out of church and also during their beautiful drinks reception back at Iscoyd Park. We did their couple portraits in the ground of Iscoyd Park, I already knew they were going to be super easy to photograph after having done an engagement shoot with them earlier in the year! As suspected, these two are absolutely perfect together and they were an absolute dream to photograph!
Red Floral Architecture decorated their room for their wedding breakfast and it was absolutely breath-taking. To top it off in the corner of the room they had a handmade donut wall full of Krispy Kreme donuts! After a delicious wedding breakfast it was time for the speeches. This was one part of the wedding that I knew Elisha was especially looking forward to, and Gary certainly didn’t disappoint! Gary’s speech is genuinely one of the most heart-warming and emotional speeches I’ve seen out of the many weddings that I’ve been to! It made Elisha, her mum, so many guests and also myself cry!
Thank you so much you two for letting me photograph your wedding, I loved every minute of it (even with the tears!).
If you’re planning a wedding at Iscoyd Park, then please do get in touch, I’d love to hear from you!
