Engagement sessions are such a wonderful way to celebrate this special time in your lives. It’s also a great opportunity to ease any nerves about being in front of the camera, so you can feel relaxed and confident on your wedding day.
During our session, we’ll take some beautiful, natural photos of you both while having a relaxed chat about your wedding plans. You’ll get a feel for how I work, and we’ll build a real connection—so when your big day arrives, it feels like a friend is capturing those precious moments. Instead of worrying about the photos, you can focus on soaking up all the excitement leading up to your wedding!

Lisa is a phenomenal photographer. I was lucky enough to have her capture my wedding day and it was the best decision I have ever made. Her photos are so beautiful and I can’t quite express how wonderful that is. I am not a particularly confident person and neither is my husband. In fact because of a spinal operation I had 10 years ago, I tend to hate full length photographs. All of that was forgotten with Lisa. I completely forgot she was even there at times. I didn’t have to pose or take time out of my day, she was just there capturing the happiness. More than that, Lisa went above and beyond. I’m based in Shropshire in the West Midlands however I’m happy to travel anywhere for weddings! Travelling is a huge passion of mine so to me it’s a huge honour when couples from further afield ask me along to capture their day. Travel and accommodation is included in the price of your wedding photography within England and Wales so you don’t have to worry about any unexpected extra costs.
Good photography all revolves around light. A spot that may have gorgeous light if I was to visit prior to your day won’t be the same as it will on your wedding day. For this reason on your wedding day I make sure to set aside a little time to have a scout round for beautiful areas and beautiful light for us to get those extra special photographs of just the two of you. I’ve shot over 100 weddings and many of those have been at venues I’ve never visited before, it’s never a problem, my skills are transferable to every venue you could possibly come up with, including back gardens, the side of a mountain, and gorgeous stately homes!
I do! Most of your day I will be shooting purely natural photographs, capturing your wedding as it truly is. do however completely understand how important group shots are, I would always recommend you have a few, they’re an important family history document and even if you don’t want any, it’s likely your parents or grandparents will! Usually after your ceremony we set aside a bit of time to shoot a list of group shots that you will have provided me with before your day. I suggest having around 8 group shots, this means all of your most important people will be in them but also means you can also spend the majority of your wedding day doing the most important bit, enjoying it!
The final balance for your Wedding Photography will be due the 1st of the Month the Month before your day. So for example, if you’re getting married on the 25th July, your remaining balance will be due on the 1st June. I do send out an email to remind you about a month before your final payment is due.
I am always over the moon when couples see me as a guest and feed me, if there is one thing I will never turn down, it’s food! Weddings are a long, tiring day so I definitely do need to eat, I do however completely understand wedding’s can be expensive and I wouldn’t want to add extra cost onto your day! I just ask that you let me know before your big day whether a meal will be provided, so I can bring some food with me if needed. Venues and caterers do usually offer a supplier meal, which is cheaper than the full blown wedding breakfast. I always eat when you and your guests eat, no one wants photos taking when they’re eating and it means I don’t miss any part of you day.
I have full public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance and only shoot with fully professional and insured equipment. I shoot with two camera bodies as standard, so if one of them was to fail I always have a back up on me at all times.
Yes! I am more than happy to meet in Shropshire for a coffee to get to know you both, of if you're further afield we can jump on a zoom call. My couples are really important to me so I love taking the time to get to know you. This is a great chance for us to have a good chat about your wedding day timeline and for you to ask any questions you may have.
Absolutely! Engagement shoots can be a great way for us to get to know each other before your wedding day. They’re not essential, however if you are a little worried or nervous about being in front of the camera on your day it’s a great way to ease you both into it. It also of course provides you with some stunning photographs of the two of you! Engagement shoots are offered on weekdays, in Summer months it is possible for us to do this in the evening as I know sometimes getting time off work can be an issue.
Your images will be with you no later than 4-6 weeks.I limit the amount of weddings I do per year to make sure that photographs can be delivered to you as soon as possible after your day.
To book all I need is a completed booking form, signed contract and £500 deposit. This is all done online which means no printing forms or sending anything in the post! The booking process can be completed within 10 minutes, super easy! If you want to get booked in just drop me a message!

When the big day came around, Lisa was a total natural with all our family and friends, she captured all the important big moments with a beautiful style, but also the little moments that could have easily been forgotten.
