We’re going back in time this week to 2017! Laura and Tim got married at The Wroxeter Hotel way back then and the blog post got deleted when my website moved over to a new platform. I’ve got SO MANY weddings to share with you, keep your eyes on the blog because it’s going to be updated every week with weddings from years ago and more recent ones too 🙂
The Wroxeter Hotel is a gorgeous local Shropshire wedding venue, I’ve shot here many times, however this was my first time shooting a woodland ceremony there. I was blown away by how beautiful their woodland ceremony area was!
Wildflower ceremony in Shropshire
Laura and Tim’s wedding had it all, gorgeous wildflowers, beautiful weather and amazing light! Not to mention their amazing style! These two were so lovely to photograph together, they were really affectionate and laughed really easily together, it’s obvious that they’re supposed to be together! The Wroxeter’s woodland area is absolutely gorgeous and it’s the perfect rural setting for a countryside wedding. Having shot here quite a few times it can be easy to fall into a routine when doing couple portraits however I make sure to look an a venue differently and use different areas no matter how many times I shoot there. The most important thing to me is to keep being creative and keep looking at things differently as well as capturing all the emotions of the day.
I asked Laura and Tim why they chose me to shoot their wedding and also what their experience was like with me on their day, they said…
“When we were looking for a wedding photographer we knew we wanted someone creative, relaxed and original. That’s exactly what we found when we discovered Lisa’s website and the photographs she crafted and presented to us for our wedding were everything we wanted and so much more. Lisa’s skill for capturing natural moments and the true beauty of her surroundings knows no bounds. The way she shot the finest details and made every colour pop in our photos, really brings the day back to life again every time we look at our pictures. Lisa was so friendly and her calm presence helped us settle into our day like ducks to water. She made us laugh, she helped us find space to take the day in and our guests thought she was just as ace as we do too. Our pictures tell a thousand stories and they are something that we will treasure for the rest of our lives, but it’s all thanks to a very creative lady who brought the best out of our day. For anyone who’s looking for a wedding photographer, Lisa is your woman…we couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Her attention to detail, creative vision, friendly and calming presence and the care she puts into every stage of the pictures she takes, is immense. If we could do it all again a thousand times over we would because we had such a blast, and one things for sure, we’d ask Lisa to capture our big day every single time.”
