The Mount Hotel Wedding- Stacey & Ant
Stacey and Ant had the most gorgeous Autumnal wedding last year at The Mount Hotel in Wolverhampton. I can’t quite believe it’s nearly been a whole year since their wedding day, I also can’t believe it’s taken me that long to blog this loveliness!
I hadn’t met Stacey and Ant before their wedding day but from our emails I could tell that we were going to get on like old friends and how right I was! As soon as I turned up to prep at The Mount Hotel on the morning of their wedding I was chatting away to Stacey and her lovely bridesmaid about just about anything! Stacey and Ant had decided against having a lot of the formalities that often come with weddings which I really loved. Your wedding day is totally yours to with as you wish, you should never do anything just because you think you should. They didn’t have formal speeches, they didn’t have a cake cutting and they didn’t have a first dance. It was clear they just wanted a really chilled out day, to celebrate getting married with their friends and family. As I got to know them I could tell that this suited them and their relationship down to the ground! I only spent this one day with Stacey and Ant however I feel like I really got to know them while I was photographing them and would absolutely love to photograph their wedding all over again!

“We wanted to capture the day in a relaxed and creative way, without all of the usual formality. We didn’t have speeches, confetti, cake cutting or a first dance and so we wanted someone who was up for doing things a bit differently. I came across Lisa’s Instagram page and instantly loved her work, as did Ant – so many wonderful, colourful, creative and unusual shots that pulled on our heartstrings in a way that other photographers’ work hadn’t. From the first contact, Lisa’s warm, relaxed and professional approach made everything so easy.
Lisa put us at ease straight away and it felt like we had known her for years. She was assertive when she needed to be (gathering everyone together for group shots) and almost undetectable at other times (capturing those important candid moments). She had us in fits of laughter while she took the shots of the two of us which, for a relatively camera-shy couple, made the whole experience so much fun!
We were completely overwhelmed with the final pictures- they were so much more than we could have imagined. The pictures charted the day wonderfully, from the beautiful tender moments to the action shots on the dance floor. Lisa truly captured the essence of us.
If you’re thinking about hiring Lisa to shoot your wedding do it now!! We cannot recommend Lisa highly enough. Her warmth, passion and genuine love for what she does make for an exceptional client experience. We loved every minute. “
