A Wildly Beautiful Branding Shoot with The Wild Cooke at Havenhills Farm

Some shoots leave you feeling creatively inspired and more connected to the world around you—and this personal branding session with The Wild Cooke was exactly that.

I joined Lucy, the wonderful force behind The Wild Cooke, at Havenhills Farm for one of her foraging workshops, and it was genuinely fascinating from start to finish. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect—rolling fields, ancient trees, and pockets of wild abundance just waiting to be discovered. Havenhills is such a peaceful, beautiful location, and the energy of the day matched it perfectly.

Lucy led the group on a guided foraging walk, sharing her deep knowledge of edible plants, herbs, and fungi that grow in places you’d never think to look. I found myself constantly surprised and delighted by how much nature offers us if we just know where—and how—to look. Her passion for wild food is absolutely infectious.

After the foraging walk, Lucy hosted a hands-on session where she taught everyone how to preserve some of the foraged finds. The workshop ended with a stunning lunch that was just as delicious as it was beautiful—thoughtfully prepared and full of flavour, made using ingredients we had seen or picked earlier that day.

Throughout the day, I captured a mix of behind-the-scenes storytelling, candid moments of learning and connection, as well as detailed shots of the food, wild ingredients, and Lucy in her element. It was one of those dream shoots where everything comes together: natural light, authentic moments, and a subject who is deeply passionate about their work.

Lucy shared these kind words after the shoot:

“Lisa is absolutely fantastic, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional photographer. She joined one of my events and really captured the magic of the day. I now have a gorgeous set of photos to advertise all aspects of my business. Thank you.”

It means the world to hear that the images are already helping Lucy share her story and grow her brand. I loved every moment of this session and would love to capture more workshops like this one—where creativity, connection, and nature come together.

If you’re a creative, a food lover, or someone running a workshop or retreat, let’s chat.
I’d love to help you bring your brand to life with imagery that feels real, natural, and uniquely you.
