There’s something undeniably special about a wedding at home—and Jayne and Matt’s beautiful day was overflowing with love, laughter, and the kind of meaningful touches that make farm weddings truly unforgettable.
Set in the rolling countryside of Market Drayton, their day began with a heartfelt ceremony at the charming St. Peter’s Church in Stoke-on-Tern. This timeless little church was the perfect place for Jayne and Matt to begin their married life—surrounded by family, friends, and generations of memories.

After the ceremony, in true farming tradition, the bridesmaids and groomsmen climbed aboard a tractor and trailer for the most joyful journey back to the family farm. The grins and cheers said it all—this was a wedding full of character and heart.
Back at Jayne’s parents’ farm, a marquee in the field was the perfect setting for a warm and relaxed reception. As with all the best farmer weddings, the guest list was big, and the atmosphere was full of connection, laughter, and love. Everyone came together to celebrate this down-to-earth, deeply personal day.
One of my favourite moments was capturing Jayne and Matt’s couple portraits in her mum and dad’s garden. It’s always meaningful to photograph people in spaces that are part of their story, and this garden—lovingly tended over the years—felt like such a symbol of home, growth, and roots.
Jayne’s creativity and care shone throughout the day. She even made their wedding cake herself, a beautiful (and delicious!) centrepiece that everyone admired. And the confetti was homemade dried flower petals, gathered and prepared with love—a detail that felt so true to them.
Hair and makeup were by the talented Hannah Cliffe, who gave Jayne a timeless, natural look that suited the relaxed countryside setting perfectly. The stunning flowers were created by Flowers by Ruth, full of romantic tones and wildflower textures that brought a soft, elegant feel to the marquee.
Jayne and Matt’s day was everything a farm wedding should be—full of heart, family, meaningful touches, and wide-open skies. The kind of day where you feel completely at ease and exactly where you’re meant to be.
If you’re planning your own Shropshire farm wedding—whether it’s a marquee in the family field or portraits in your childhood garden—I’d love to be there to capture it all. These relaxed, heart-led days are truly something special.
