There are some wedding days that just buzz with energy, the kind where the laughter feels louder, the hugs last longer, and everyone seems to glow a little brighter in the summer sun. Victoria and Andrew’s wedding at Davenport House was one of those days.

From the moment guests arrived, it was clear that this wasn’t going to be a quiet affair. The weather was glorious, blue skies stretching endlessly over Davenport’s gardens, the perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony surrounded by family, friends, and of course, their beloved dog, who proudly took part in the celebrations.
After the vows, everyone spilled out onto the lawn for drinks and confetti from Shropshire Petals, showering the couple as they made their way down the grand steps at the back of Davenport. It was one of those scenes that felt like pure joy, petals floating in the light, laughter echoing across the gardens, and a sea of smiling faces.
Victoria looked stunning in her Suzanne Neville dress, paired with Charlotte Mills shoes, while Andrew and his groomsmen kept things sharp and classic in their suits. Every detail was thoughtfully styled by Samantha Sage Studios, who brought a soft, romantic feel to the outdoor space, the perfect balance of elegance and ease.
As the sun began to dip, the celebrations only grew more lively. In true “them” fashion, Victoria and Andrew chose to have their speeches outside during golden hour, gathered once again on those iconic Davenport steps. The light was dreamy, warm, and golden, the kind that makes everything feel just a little bit magical.
Dinner began with an enthusiastic bang, quite literally, as a (very loud!) gong signalled their grand entrance, followed by wild napkin waving and cheers from their huge group of friends. It set the tone for a night full of laughter, dancing, and the kind of memories that stay with you long after the music fades.
Instead of a traditional cake, the couple opted for a cheese tower, and by the end of the night, the photo booth props had made their way onto the dancefloor, a sure sign of a good party!
Every part of the day was filled with warmth and personality, from the stunning florals by Anne Whysall, to the beautiful music by Apollo Music , and the heartfelt moments captured alongside Ravenandwolf Films.
Victoria and Andrew’s Davenport House wedding was everything an August celebration should be, joyful, sun-soaked, and bursting with love.
