Sweeney Hall Hotel Wedding | Liv & Craig

Some weddings feel like a gentle exhale—a day full of warmth, laughter, and genuine connection. Liv and Craig’s beautiful wedding at Sweeney Hall Hotel in Oswestry was exactly that. Nestled in the Shropshire countryside, Sweeney Hall has this timeless, elegant charm and a relaxed atmosphere that made the whole day feel wonderfully personal from start to finish.

Liv got ready in one of the hotel’s light-filled rooms with her closest people around her—and one very important member of the family: her cat. Over the years I’ve taken lots of photos of brides with their dogs, but this was my first bride-and-cat moment, and it was so special.

Liv looked stunning in her gown from Emstrey Bridal, with delicate details that moved beautifully as she walked. Her makeup was by EH Makeup Artistry—elegant, soft and completely her. Craig wore a classic suit from Moss Bros, and the colours and styling tied in beautifully with the setting.

The flowers, created by Rosie Posie Wedding Flowers, were joyful and natural—full of texture, colour and a slightly wild, romantic feel that worked perfectly with the relaxed elegance of Sweeney Hall.

The ceremony took place in the barn and the atmosphere was warm and full of emotion. Liv and Craig’s love for each other was so obvious—gentle glances, easy laughter, and the kind of connection that makes you feel lucky to witness it.

After the ceremony, we made the most of Sweeney Hall’s gardens and surrounding countryside. There are so many beautiful spots for photos here, from open fields to quiet corners with old trees and soft light. We even caught a few peaceful moments between the two of them, just soaking up that just-married feeling.

If you’re planning a Sweeney Hall wedding, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a venue that balances elegance with comfort, giving you space to relax, celebrate, and just be with your favourite people. And if your cat wants to be part of the day? Even better.

Liv and Craig, thank you for letting me be a part of it all—it was such a joy to document your day, and I’ll never forget that lovely, quiet moment with you and your cat before it all began.
