Steph & Ben’s wedding at The Bridal Barn in August 2022 was the perfect mix of relaxed countryside charm and elegant touches. Hidden among the trees of South Shropshire, The Bridal Barn has this magical, secluded feel, a place where celebrations unfold naturally and everyone feels at ease.

From the first time I met Steph and Ben, I knew their day would be full of laughter, warmth and connection. They’re one of those couples who are just so comfortable with each other, and it shines through in every photo.

Getting Ready

Steph got ready surrounded by her closest family and friends, and the atmosphere was calm yet full of excitement. She wore a stunning Allure dress from Wedding Belles of Four Oaks, paired with sparkly Charlotte Mills shoes, the perfect blend of romantic and modern. Her soft, effortless waves by Kerry Bains and glowing makeup by Rachael Davis completed the look beautifully.

Ben wore a classic suit from Duncan James Menswear, accessorised with a timeless Tag Heuer watch and Jo Malone fragrance, understated elegance at its best.

The Ceremony

The woodland setting at The Bridal Barn provided the dreamiest backdrop for their vows. Sunlight filtered through the trees, giving everything that golden summer glow photographers dream of. It felt so personal and relaxed, just the two of them surrounded by the people they love most.

The Details

The couple’s styling was a perfect reflection of the venue — rustic, romantic and full of thoughtful detail.

  • Flowers: Bouquets and buttonholes by The Secret Garden Weddings were soft and natural, while Country and Foxes created stunning floral and venue styling that tied everything together beautifully.
  • Confetti: Handcrafted by Country and Foxes too — it looked incredible flying through the summer light!
  • Cake: A gorgeous creation by Bake It Special — simple, elegant and absolutely delicious.
  • Music: Live acoustic music by Joe Seager set the perfect tone, from ceremony to dance floor.
  • Videography: The talented Harry Fisher captured every heartfelt moment alongside me.

The Reception

After the ceremony, guests spilled out into the sunshine for drinks and laughter before heading into the Big Bear tipi at The Bridal Barn for dinner and speeches. The space looked incredible, twinkling lights, foliage draped from the beams and rustic wooden tables styled by Country and Foxes.

Steph and Ben’s first dance under the fairy lights felt like something out of a movie, with Joe Seager’s live music filling the night. There was such a sense of joy, the kind of celebration where everyone’s grinning ear to ear.
