Nestled in the heart of Shropshire, Stanford Farm offers a charming and relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for couples like Sarah and David who want a laid-back wedding day.

Sarah and David’s wedding day at Stanford Farm was nothing short of magical. Against the backdrop of a beautiful July day, with clear skies overhead, guests enjoyed the picturesque setting complete with tents for lounging, haybales for relaxation, delicious cake, and adorable dogs.

Church wedding at St Andrews Church

Their ceremony took place at the historic St Andrew’s Church in Church Stretton, Shropshire. The emotional ceremony saw David looking dashing in his military uniform, while Sarah looked amazing in a Mori Lee wedding dress. When they walked out of church they were greeted with David’s Navy boys forming a sword arch for them and their beloved black Labrador, Bella, to walk through. The newlyweds then departed in style, driving off into the sunset in a classic Morgan car.

Arriving at Stanford Farm, guests were greeted by a beautifully decorated barn, ready for the wedding breakfast. Family members were busy putting together the couple’s stunning wedding cake, showcasing the personal touches that made their day so special.

Dog Friendly Wedding Venue in Shropshire

Sarah and David are people after my own heart in that they are big dog people. I often react to dogs how most people react when they see a cute baby, something along the lines of “Awww, you’re beautiful aren’t you?!” etc etc. Bella (their gorgeous black Labrador) obviously had to be involved in their couple portraits! Guests were treated to glitter favors which most of their guests put on their faces and all the guys with beards of course created glitter beards. I always love seeing the favours that my bride and grooms come up with and I’m always really impressed when there’s something a bit different. The glitter was a wonderful set up to the party they had set up later on in the day! The evening continued with Sarah’s impressive bouquet toss and entertainment that kept everyone on their feet.

Sarah and David’s celebration truly exemplified their knack for throwing a memorable party. From live music to a silent disco, the festivities were filled with laughter and joy. As a photographer who loves capturing the essence of such moments, I had a blast joining in the fun and capturing the memories.

If you’re planning your wedding at Stanford Farm and looking for a photographer, then get in touch, I’d be thrilled to be a part of your day!
