“Lisa did some branding shots for my interior design business and was excellent! I usually hate having my photo taken but I was immediately at ease with Lisa and actually enjoyed the shoot. Lisa has great ideas and knew how to create fantastic shots that suited my brand and business. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Lisa!”
When it comes to personal branding photography in Shropshire, one of the most important things I focus on is how my clients feel during the shoot. Because the truth is, how you feel in the moment directly affects how you’ll feel when you look back at the final images. If you feel relaxed, confident, and like yourself during the session, that energy shines through, and that’s exactly what we created during Jennifer’s shoot for her interior design business, Hockhouse Designs.
Jennifer invited me to photograph her in her beautifully styled home, unsurprisingly, a complete dream for a photographer. With its dramatic dark walls, large windows, and gorgeous natural light, her home was full of visual interest and texture. But more than that, it felt like her, warm, thoughtful, creative. That’s what personal branding photography is all about: creating images that tell your story and show your personality.
We spent a relaxed morning capturing Jennifer in different spaces around her home, working on her laptop, arranging some of her favourite pieces, and simply being present in the space she’s so lovingly curated. As an interior designer, Jennifer’s home was a perfect reflection of her brand and aesthetic, but the aim was never to stage anything too formally. We kept things fluid and easy, and as always, I made space for plenty of conversation and natural movement, because that’s when the magic happens.
What I love about personal branding sessions is that no two are ever the same. While Jennifer’s home was a dream to shoot in, I’ve worked in all kinds of environments over the years thanks to my background in wedding photography. Whether we’re in a cosy home office, a bustling coffee shop, or a rented studio space, my priority is always the same: to help you feel comfortable and confident so that the photos reflect the real you.
If you’re looking for personal branding photography in Shropshire, and want a photographer who will help you feel at ease, guide you gently throughout the shoot, and capture you in a natural and relaxed way, I’d love to chat.
