Harriet and Rowan’s outdoor Iscoyd Park wedding in June 2023 was such a joy to photograph. The whole day was filled with sunshine, laughter, and those little thoughtful touches that made it feel so personal to them.
A Beautiful Outdoor Ceremony at The Dovecote
Their ceremony took place outside at The Dovecote, one of my favourite spots at Iscoyd Park. It’s such a romantic setting, surrounded by greenery and birdsong, the perfect backdrop for a summer wedding. Harriet and Rowan’s ceremony was heartfelt and relaxed, with the sweetest atmosphere as their family and friends watched them say their vows under the open sky.
Two Confetti Moments (Because One Just Isn’t Enough!)
If you know me, you’ll know I’m a big fan of confetti, so I absolutely loved that these two planned not one but two confetti moments! After the ceremony, guests showered them with confetti as they walked back up the aisle, and then again outside the front of Iscoyd Park. Both moments were full of joy and colour, and made for such fun, lively photos.
A Quiet Moment in the Woods
After their ceremony, Harriet and Rowan took a little time just for themselves. Iscoyd had set up a cosy spot in the woods with a blanket, drinks and a few canapés, the perfect opportunity for them to pause, soak everything in and enjoy being newlyweds.
I followed them into the woods to capture some natural, candid moments of the two of them together. The light filtering through the trees was beautiful, and the resulting images are some of my favourites from the day, relaxed, romantic, and full of connection.
It was such a lovely idea to take twenty minutes away from the buzz of the day. Not only did it give them time to breathe and enjoy each other’s company, but the photos from this quiet moment were a gorgeous addition to their couple portraits later on.
