2022 and 2023 were such busy years I never actually got round to creating my best of 2022, so I decided to mash both years together into this loveliness. I am always so grateful that I get to do this job, 2022 saw quite a few covid postponements and 2023 was a relatively more “normal” year. After the backlog of weddings from covid I decided to take on fewer weddings in 2023 to make sure I didn’t burn out and to ensure I could give my all to every single couple. These two years saw me going to some old favourites such as Iscoyd Park, Rowton Castle, Combermere Abbey, The Bridal Barn, Pimhill Barns, and Blakelands Countryhouse to name a few. And I also had the excitement of shooting weddings at venues I had never been to before like Hencote, back gardens, The Courtyard, Warbourne Farm and Plas Dinam Country House. I love going back to old venues, it’s like being welcomed home and shooting at new venues is always really fun!
I want to say a big thank you to all the couples who trusted me over the past two years to capture your weddings. I truly mean it when I say I have the best job in the world and I can’t wait to keep doing it, I’m looking forward to seeing where 2024 and 2025 takes me! If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that I’m expecting a baby in March 2024, Luke and I are so excited for this next chapter of our lives! This does mean that weddings are taking a backseat for a little while so I can take some maternity leave to get to know our brand new human. I will be available for shorter coverage weddings though and full day weddings from September 2024. Dates for 2024 and 2025 will be limited for weddings but I’m certainly not giving them up! If you’re planning a wedding in autumn 2024 or any time in 2025 then please get in touch, I’d love to be there to capture your day!
