Emma & Ed’s Autumnal Wedding at The Bridal Barn in Bridgnorth
Emma and Ed’s wedding at The Bridal Barn in Bridgnorth was the perfect celebration of love, laughter, and all the magic of autumn. From the moment I arrived at the venue, I could feel the warm, cosy vibes that the season brings.
A Beautiful and Cosy Barn Ceremony
The ceremony itself took place in the barn, which was beautifully decorated with seasonal touches. The rustic charm of the space, combined with Emma and Ed’s thoughtful autumnal details, made it feel so intimate and inviting. Pumpkins and pinecones adorned the space, adding a touch of nature to their special day.
Cherry Vodka and Seasonal Details
One of the standout features of the day was their shot station! Guests were treated to cherry vodka shots before taking their seats for the meal. It was such a fun and unique way to kick off the celebrations and set the tone for a relaxed and joyful day. I also loved how they tied the season into every detail, from the decorations to the little moments.
Golden Hour Perfection for Couple Portraits
Autumn weddings have a special place in my heart, and Emma and Ed’s day reminded me exactly why. We were treated to the most incredible golden hour light for their couple portraits, and the combination of the warm glow and the golden hues of the season was just breathtaking. The Bridal Barn’s woodland setting provided the perfect backdrop, and I couldn’t resist getting creative with their detail shots. One of my favourite photos from the day was their wedding rings nestled on some mushrooms surrounded by pinecones – such a perfect nod to the season!
Marshmallow Toasting and a Singalong by the Fire
As the sun set, the courtyard tipi came alive with the smell of marshmallows toasting over the fire pits. Guests gathered around, enjoying the cosy atmosphere and making the most of the evening. Inside, one of their talented guests took to the piano, sparking an impromptu singalong. Emma and her bridesmaids joined in, and it was such a lovely, heartfelt moment to capture.
A Jumpsuit, Karaoke, and a Wild Dancefloor
Emma surprised everyone by changing into a chic jumpsuit for the evening festivities – I’m a big fan of a second outfit on a wedding day! The dancefloor was absolutely buzzing, and as the night went on, it turned into an impromptu karaoke session with the band playing and guests belting out their favourite tunes. It was the perfect way to end such an incredible day.
Emma and Ed said…
“Lisa photographed our wedding in 2021 and it was such a lovely experience. As somebody who is a bit of a show off marrying somebody who would prefer to stay out the limelight, Lisa did an excellent job of bringing out both our personalities and ensuring we were both comfortable. The whole day was literally like a having a mate photograph us and the photos came out beautifully. She blended in perfectly to the day and nothing felt forced. Thank you Lisa.”
