There’s something truly special about October weddings, and Kate and Matthew’s celebration at the stunning Iscoyd Park was nothing short of magical. As a Shropshire wedding photographer, I was thrilled to capture their beautiful day—filled with warm autumn tones, golden light, and so much love.

Their ceremony took place at the charming St Mary’s Whitewell Church, the perfect setting for such a heartfelt occasion. Kate looked absolutely radiant in her Pronovias dress, and I especially loved capturing those delicate details—like the way the lace sleeves caught the light as her bridesmaids helped her get ready. One of my favourite moments was watching the sunlight stream through the church windows, creating the most beautiful glow around her.
As a wedding photographer, I’m always on the lookout for those little, fleeting moments that tell the story of the day. From Matthew’s nervous excitement as he waited at the altar to the emotional, joyful tears as Kate walked down the aisle—these are the moments that make each wedding so unique and special.
After the ceremony, we headed to the breathtaking Iscoyd Park, one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Shropshire. It looked incredible bathed in the golden October light, providing the perfect backdrop for Kate and Matthew’s portraits. Capturing their love in such a stunning setting was a joy, and I know these images will be treasured for years to come.
I also had the pleasure of working alongside the talented Pat Holt, who was filming the wedding. It’s always wonderful to collaborate with other wedding professionals, and I can’t wait to see the beautiful film he creates for Kate and Matthew.
The reception was held in Iscoyd Park’s elegant marquee, and the atmosphere was simply magical. The evening was filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and some seriously impressive dance moves! As a wedding photographer, I love capturing these candid, unscripted moments—the pure joy and emotion that make the day unforgettable.
Kate and Matthew were such a wonderful couple to work with, and I was so touched by their kind words after receiving their photos:
“Lisa is an absolute gem! We hired her for our wedding at Iscoyd Park last October, and she was just fabulous to work with. She was so friendly, kind and slotted into our day just perfectly. Lisa shared a sneak peek of our photos almost immediately after the wedding (while we were in the airport going off on honeymoon!) and we both cried—we loved them so much.
Lisa has a really relaxed style, which is exactly what we wanted. She just blended into our wedding like another guest. We really didn’t want to spend too much time away from the day, and Lisa understood this but still managed to capture hundreds of amazing pictures. Thank you so much, Lisa! x”
As the night came to a close, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful to have been a part of Kate and Matthew’s special day. It was a wedding filled with love, laughter, and so many beautiful memories, and I’m honoured to have captured them.
If you’re planning your wedding at Iscoyd Park or another venue in Shropshire, I’d love to hear from you! With years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’m here to help you preserve the memories of your day in beautiful, timeless images.
