When Suzy and Jon got in touch about their wedding at Iscoyd Park, they made one thing clear—they wanted a relaxed, natural day, focused on celebrating with their loved ones (including their two beautiful daughters). For me, this was perfect because relaxed weddings are exactly the kind of celebrations I love to photograph.
Set in the heart of the countryside on the Shropshire/Wales border, Iscoyd Park is one of the most stunning wedding venues in the area. Suzy and Jon’s autumn wedding made the most of everything this incredible venue has to offer—beautiful gardens, timeless interiors, and that warm, romantic feel that autumn brings.
The Bride & Groom
Suzy looked absolutely breathtaking in her gown from Elizabeth Louise Bridal. The dress was classic and elegant, fitting perfectly with the formal black-tie dress code. Jon and his groomsmen also looked sharp in their tuxedos, bringing a touch of sophistication to their relaxed, family-focused day.
Autumn at Iscoyd Park
If you’ve ever been to Iscoyd Park, you’ll know how special it looks in autumn. 🍂 The changing leaves, the soft golden light, and the cosy atmosphere make it the perfect time of year for a wedding. For Suzy and Jon’s couple portraits, we embraced the warm tones of the season, using the natural beauty of Iscoyd’s gardens and grounds to create images that felt romantic and timeless.
As a photographer, Iscoyd Park in Shropshire is one of my favourite venues to work at. The variety of backdrops is incredible—from the landscaped gardens to the elegant interiors—and it all feels so relaxed yet luxurious.
A Candlelit Celebration
The marquee at Iscoyd was transformed into a romantic haven for Suzy and Jon’s wedding breakfast and speeches. Filled with candlelight, it created a cosy and intimate atmosphere that was perfect for celebrating with their closest family and friends.
The speeches brought so much laughter and emotion, and Suzy and Jon’s daughters were at the heart of it all, running around and soaking up the love. Seeing their family enjoy such a special day together was a joy to capture.
A Lovely Review
Delivering Suzy and Jon’s final gallery was such a pleasure—especially knowing how much they loved their sneak peeks. After receiving their full gallery, Suzy shared this lovely review:
“We had Lisa do our photography for our wedding last month! Lisa was so friendly on the run-up to the wedding and made sure all our questions were answered. She was absolutely perfect on the day for the natural photos that we wanted of us and our wedding guests. Only 48 hours after the wedding we had our sneak peek photos, and they are amazing.”
This kind of feedback means the world to me—thank you, Suzy and Jon!
