“Trying to find wedding suppliers is sometimes a nightmare as there is so much choice & making sure you pick the right one is very important especially when it comes to the person who is going to capture your memories of the day.
Well seriously look no further than Lisa Webb Photography! We looked at other photographers & they all look the same but Lisa’s style suited what we wanted, which was relaxed & natural. It also helped that she had shot at our venue before, which gave us confidence that she would do a good job as it’s such a unique place.
We made contact with Lisa & the whole process was easy & uncomplicated. All the forms were online, which were easy to complete. You then get to make friends on Facebook so you can all get a feel for what kind of people we are, which let’s face it is the way to do it now!
Lisa was always available to answer my questions no matter how trivial & did so promptly. She even put me in touch with a Brolly company last minute for our big day as the weather wasn’t looking promising. She totally reassured me that no matter what the weather the photos would be amazing & they are!!
Lisa clearly knew the venue & got there early to research the best spots. We had a lovely time having our photos done in some beautiful places & it all felt very natural & dare I say fun (I hate having photos taken!)
Everyone at the wedding commented on how hard Lisa was working throughout the day & into the evening.
We’ve now received our photos & I can’t express how pleased we both are with them. It was without a doubt the best day of our lives & it has been captured in just the way that we want to remember it. She has captured the atmosphere, the fun that was had & now all the stories that have come out of it have images to go with them.
Thank you Lisa for giving us the opportunity to relive that day whenever we want to with the most beautiful photos!”
Michelle and Paul got married in autumn at the rustic Cowshed, which is an unusual barn in Codsall. It was the most beautiful wedding and we got some gorgeous Autumn sunlight!
Michelle got ready at The Mount Hotel with her daughter and bridesmaids, and the atmosphere was full of excitement. They then rode the short trip to get to the ceremony. Paul got ready at The Cowshed we hadn’t planned for me to photograph Paul’s prep, however it turned out that Michelle was so organised and ready so early, I had time to nip to The Cowshed to photograph Paul putting his suit on.
Barn Ceremony at The Cowshed
The ceremony was a lovely legal ceremony in the barn. The barn at The Cowshed is quite dark however Michelle and Paul had some beautiful love letters lighting up the front of the ceremony room. This was perfect from a photography perspective because it created a beautiful light on them during their ceremony meaning I didn’t have to use flash! During the ceremony they had a really emotional reading by one of Michelle’s bridesmaids. It was really lovely to witness, it caused quite a few people to well up and also a bit of goodhearted laughter too! One of my favourite parts of their ceremony was when their daughter went and stood between them while they were exchanging their vows!
The reception was in the same room at the venue. They chose The Cowshed because it has so many options and they could totally personalise it. It was a rustic styled wedding, which works really well at a venue like The Cowshed. I love shooting Cowshed weddings because they’re always so relaxed. I’ve shot there a few times now and I always look forward to it. The light there is amazing and there are lots of spaces we can use even if the weather isn’t the best.
They had a drinks reception in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening. I love live bands at weddings, they always really get the party started! Michelle and Paul both love music so the band was really important to them. They decorated the venue with flowers and paper lanterns, because they love colour. I thought the venue looked amazing and I especially loved the paper lanterns, they really added something a bit special!
For dinner they had proper wedding grub, which was loved by all the guests. The first dance involved the wedding party getting on the dancefloor to get the dancing going, and they finished off the evening with everyone up on the dancefloor having the time of their lives.
Michelle wore a House of Ollichon two piece dress and Paul wore a blue Ted Bake suit and they looked so awesome. Their wedding cake was made by Michelle, the bride, it looked super professional I was very impressed!
Michelle and Paul’s wedding was so laid back and such a laugh. Here’s their awesome Cowshed wedding!
