Dunchurch Park Hotel Wedding – Terri & Tim

blossom tree wedding photograph

“We booked Lisa as our Wedding photographer having seeing her photograph a family members wedding a year earlier. She was friendly, helpful, organised and the photos were beautiful. It had to be her!

Working with Lisa on the day was great! Lisa was very professional but she also made us all feel very at ease from the moment she arrived. At the front of the church I didn’t even know Lisa was there but she captured every single bit of emotion felt not only by us but our loved ones too. Nothing was too much trouble, she took all the photos we asked for and any additional photos on the day. After the ceremony we went for a walk around the hotel to have some photos of the two of us which was nice to give us some time to just be us with Lisa, which again, she produced some amazing photos from. We even took a walk over very soggy ground in the rain to get some stunning shots, she was willing to go the extra mile for fantastic photos for us as long as we were happy!

The photos we have received are gorgeous! It brought all the love and emotions from the day straight back to us! Lisa has taken some really stunning, natural photos of us, our friends and our family which we didn’t even know she was taking. It was really lovely to see because with so much going on, some things are missed by the Bride and Groom through the day. We knew the photos would be amazing having seeing her work before but we were both just blown away!

My Husband and I cannot recommend Lisa highly enough! The whole process from booking to the day itself was easy and hassle free. Lisa is a very talented photographer with a fantastic creative flare and personality to go with it, working with Lisa is easy, fun and we all had a real giggle on the day! Thank you so much Lisa for being a part of our day, we will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives!”

Terri and Tim got married in spring at the grand Dunchurch Park Hotel, which is a huge hotel in Dunchurch. They had their ceremony at St Botolth’s Church, which is a really picturesque church nearby to the venue. It was a beautiful day and we even had a rainbow!

Bridal prep

Terri got ready at home with her bridesmaids, and the atmosphere was full of excitement. Terri’s dad walking in and seeing her in her dress for the first time was so emotional, luckily Terri had the tissues at the ready! The girls then jumped into a fancy wedding car to get to the ceremony.

The serious part

The ceremony was a beautiful service in a stunning church not far from Dunchurch Park Hotel. The church itself was lovely, with lots of gorgeous natural light streaming in from the window in front of Terri and Tim. During the ceremony my favourite moment was when Tim saw Terri walking up the aisle he started welling up. It was so emotional and really beautiful. After their ceremony we took some photographs of the two of them under a beautiful blossom tree that was in the grounds of the church. Blossom trees aren’t around for very long so I LOVE making the most of them in spring.

The afternoon

The reception was in a beautiful room at Dunchurch Park Hotel. They chose the venue because it has so many options and they could totally personalise it. It was a really relaxed wedding, which are always the best kind of weddings. I love shooting Dunchurch Park weddings because the light is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately for a lot of the day the rain was very persistent which meant we weren’t able to use a lot of the grounds that are on offer at Dunchurch. The skies made up for the rain later on in the day though when we were treated to the most gorgeous rainbow. Terri decided she wanted a picture with the rainbow so much she gathered up her dress, took off her shoes and ran across the absolutely sodden grass. She is my kind of bride!

They had a drinks reception in the afternoon, and a big party in the evening. One of my favourite decorations that Terri and Tim had was their table plan which they had adhered onto one of their surfboards. They’re both very outdoorsy so I loved this touch of adding their personalities into their wedding.

For dinner they had a roast dinner, which was absolutely delicious. Having shot at Dunchurch Park before I knew that the food was amazing but it’s always a treat to have it again! The first dance was a romantic slow dance, and they finished off the evening with a huge buffet.

The couple

Terri wore Sammi Lou Bridal Couture and Tim wore Marc Darcy and they looked so incredible. Terri’s flowers were gorgeous, she’d found them on Etsy!

Terri and Tim’s wedding was totally epic and just the happiest occasion. Here’s their Dunchurch Park wedding!
