Warwick House Wedding – Olivia & Dean

warwick house wedding

Warwick House is a gorgeous wedding venue in the heart of Warwickshire. It was the perfect choice for Olivia and Dean’s summer wedding. Olivia and Dean booked me to photograph their wedding after seeing Siobhan and Daniel’s wedding that I photographed at Warwick House back in 2015, I was really chuffed when Olivia told me that aside from their venue I was one of the first things that they booked! It always means a lot to me when good photography is really high on a couple’s priorities for their wedding.

With Olivia herself being a make up artist the make up artist that she chose for her own big day was bound to be amazing. Danielle did such a wonderful job with Olivia’s make up, simply enhancing her natural beauty!

One of the photographs that I always love getting at a wedding is the father of the bride’s reaction to the bride in her wedding dress. Dad’s usually haven’t seen the bride in the dress before, or for that matter even the dress itself so it’s always a really lovely moment. Olivia’s dad had such a lovely reaction to seeing Olivia in her dress, with everyone in the room getting quite tearful!

Warwick House gives couples the option to get married inside or outside, Olivia and Dean opted to have an indoor ceremony which turned out to be the best option as the Great British weather was quite unpredictable! Their ceremony was really laid back and it was so lovely to witness.

For bridal portraits we went up to Warwick House’s honeymoon suite, this is one of my favourite aspects of this venue. The windows in the honeymoon suite are absolutely stunning, they’re incredibly large so let in lots of lovely natural light. Natural light is my favourite to work in, I always try to avoid using flash as much as possible as natural light is always the most flattering and the most interesting to work with. The very basics of good photography relies on good light.

We managed to pop outside for some couple portraits in between showers. Warwick House has a lovely garden so it was fantastic to be able to use it for their couple portraits!

Olivia and Dean said..

“Wow Lisa! They’re incredible! Thank you so much for capturing such beautiful photos! Can’t wait to share with friends & family!! You’ve done such an amazing job. We can’t thank you enough! The photographs are just wonderful. It’s been lovely looking through them reminiscing on our perfect day!”

I absolutely loved photographing these two and getting to photograph at the beautiful Warwick House again.

If you’re planning a wedding at Warwick House then please do get in touch! I would love to photograph your big day!
